This course is intended for master shipboard personnel who are responsible for a vessel's emergency preparedness. Topics covered include:

procedures for conducting the monthly emergency drills required by the Coast Guard,

how to run effective safety orientations,

realistic drill scenarios,

importance of debriefing all drills, and

proper documentation.
