Safety Equipment & Survival Procedures (8 hrs)

This Coast Guard approved, hands-on course covers survival theory using visual aids, in-the-water exercises with immersion suits, man-overboard retrieval devices, an inflatable liferaft and an array of other survival gear. Instruction includes survival-at-sea techniques, search and rescue procedures, and treatment of hypothermia. 

Hands-on training covers signaling devices, man-overboard and abandon-ship emergencies, and cold water survival techniques.
