Shipboard Damage Control Training (8 hours)

This course teaches the all of the basic requirements needed to conduct successful damage control in a controlled environment. There is a classroom session given on the investigation of damage. The hands-on training sessions consist of shoring principles, layout, plugging, pipe patching, and dewatering. During the afternoon session the students are given a wet battle problem to control.

This class is taught at the Olympic College Readiness Response Institute in Bremerton, WA.
